Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of
Biafra (IPOB), in prison and would later
converge for a press conference at Chelsea

granted him bail which the federal government
refused to implement. The IPOB leader has
since been held in a prison in Abuja despite
several court ruling in favor of his release
