BREAKING: OBAMA Was Arrested In Airport While Trying To Leave AMERICA
It doesn’t matter if you’re republican, democrat, independent, dauntless, galactic republic, or a hermit, this message is for you. With all the concerns over being politically correct and standing your ground I think–I hope–one thing we can agree on is that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. President Obama is the first persident to ever visit a prison and during his visit he got to see a glimpse of what life is like behind bars. During the tour he got to see a cell that was 9 feet by 10 with three bunks, a toilet with no seat, a small sink, metal cabinets, a little wooden night table, and a life that could have been his if it wasn’t for a few minor moments of grace.
The president met with 6 nonviolent drug offenders who shared their stories of how they were arrested and life leading up to their incarceration. Obama went on to say “When they describe their youth and their childhood, these are young people who made mistakes that aren’t that different from the mistakes I made and the mistakes that a lot of you guys made. The difference is, they did not have the kind of support structures, the second chances, the resources that would allow them to survive those mistakes.”
You don’t have to agree with everything the president has said but it’s important we all have the same reaction to life as Obama did after visiting the prison, “But for the grace of God…and that is something we all have to think about”.
