Man United boss Jose Mourinho calls Real Madrid chief about Barcelona star

JOSE MOURINHO has reportedly warned Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez about Neymar’s situation at Barcelona.
The Brazilian has enjoyed another stellar campaign personally at the Nou Camp but Barcelona are struggling to keep up with their rivals Real Madrid on the pitch.
Madrid currently lead Barca by three points at the top of La Liga and Neymar’s side are facing a Champions league quarter-final exit after a 3-0 hammering by Juventus on Tuesday.
And Spanish publication Don Balon claim the 25-year-old is growing frustrated that could see him push for an exit.
The report suggests Mourinho has made contact with Perez regarding Neymar as the Portuguese boss is thought to be keen on luring him to Manchester United.
Perez and Mourinho have maintained a relationship following the 54-year-old’s stint in the Spanish capital.
And it seems Mourinho has given his former boss a heads up that Neymar’s growing unrest at Barcelona could see Madrid handed a huge boost if their star player leaves.
Don Balon claim Mourinho still has tabs on the attacker with the club in contact with his father.
They add United would be able to afford his £173m release clause with Neymar under contract at Barca until 2021.
