There's No Going Back On Anambra State Election Boycott - IPOB Declares

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has reiterated position on the upcoming Anambra governorship election, says its orders to boycott the election stands despite false News from some quarters.
This came as some Nigerian Media reported that IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu, had at a meeting in Owerri withdrawn the orders to boycott the upcoming Anambra election.
Orsu24news had reported that Kanu on Friday invited to a meeting in Owerri by the leadership of Ala Igbo Development Foundation, over orders to boycott the Anambra governorship election.
IPOB responding to Media report following the meeting in Owerri that Kanu has withdrawn orders to boycott the Anambra election, decribed the reports as lies from the pit of hell, aimed to misinform the public on the position of IPOB.
Meanwhile, Kanu after the meeting in Owerri said he only attended the meeting base on the respect he has for the elders.
He also said that IPOB is not a violent organization, ”we are law abiding citizens of the society”. ”I will meet with the leadership of IPOB base on the issue discussed”.
Speaking after the meeting, President of Ala Igbo Development Foundation, Professor Uzodimma Nwala, said they came to discuss the issue of mutual concern, especially on Anambra election.
”We are happy our brother Kanu is here with us”, we are meeting for the first time and will still meet again, no decision has been taken,” he said.
